Background:
|
The State is now sitting on an overall balance of nearly $6 billion as it continues to underfund its own recommendations to support English learners, students with disabilities and students challenged by poverty. The State Assembly wrapped up session on February 22, 2024. The next session, with elections based on the new legislative maps, will begin in January of 2025. Statewide context for Wisconsin schooling funding from the Wisconsin Association of School Business Officials is attached. Additional updates will be provided. |
