Background:
Listed below is the contract modification recommended for the Board's approval at this meeting: - Carrico Aquatic Resources Inc. for pool chemicals at various MPS sites; Code: Various = Not to exceed $300,000.00 for the remainder of the contract. The modification requires a waiver of Administrative Policy 3.09 in order to add three months to the current three-year contract. The contract would also be modified to increase expenditure authority by an additional $100,000.  
Fiscal Impact Statement:
This item authorizes expenditures for: Contract Modification: Total Contract Modification Requested = Not to exceed $300,000.00  
Implementation and Assessment Plan:
Upon Board approval, the attached contract modification shall be executed.  
Recommendation
Your Committee recommends that the Board 1. waive Administrative Policy 3.09(e) and 2. approve the contract modifications, as described in the attachments to this item.
