Recommended for the Board's approval at this meeting are the following exception-to-bid contracts:

International Association for Human Values to provide in-school intervention and professional development, SDV-0-S-SJ5-SN-ECTS =$95,000.00;

von Briesen & Roper, S.C., for legal services, OGA-0-0-HRO-HR-ECTS =$300,000.00;

Teaching Lab for professional learning on implementing effective instructional practices in PreK- 3 literacy classrooms, SDV-0-S-3Z5-DW-ECTS =$262,000.00;

North America Central School Bus Intermediate Holding Company, LLC dba Illinois Central School Bus, LLC for clean heavy-duty vehicles (electric yellow buses), PTR-0-S-VZ5-TT-ECTS = $7,393,750.00.

Lakeside Buses of Wisconsin, Inc. for clean heavy-duty vehicles (electric yellow buses), PTR-0-S-VZ5-TT-ECTS = $7,393,750.00.

This item authorizes expenditures as indicated in the attachments.  
Implementation and Assessment Plan:
Upon approval by the Board, the contracts will begin as indicated in the attachments.  
Recommendation
The Administration recommends that the Board authorize the exception-to-bid contracts as set forth in the attachments to this item.
