Background:
|
Since 2015, Milwaukee Public Schools has collaborated with the Department of Public Instruction to develop the Seal of Biliteracy as a statewide recognition. This state-approved credential honors students who achieve proficiency in English and one or more world languages by graduation.
On September 26, 2024, the Board approved revisions to Administrative Policy and Procedures 7.12 – World Languages, reinforcing our commitment to expanding access to world language education for all students. This presentation will highlight the growth and impact of the Seal of Biliteracy in Milwaukee Public Schools. |
