Background:
|
Milwaukee Public Schools acknowledges that technology is ever-changing and has a tremendous impact on our global society, local community, and classrooms. Artificial intelligence (AI), including generative forms of AI, is becoming more a part of our everyday lives. Generative AI tools present exciting opportunities for education including personalizing learning experiences, offering targeted support, and automating administrative tasks. It is our responsibility to educate and train students to utilize generative AI in an ethical and educational way. Updating our staff and student acceptable use policies and providing guidance on the use of generative AI allows us to begin integrating AI responsibly and effectively within our schools. |
