Background:
Per Board Governance Policy 2.11, every fifth year, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors and its designee shall revisit all of its policies, rules, and procedures to determine their coherence and appropriateness to the present mission of the district. Revisions to Administrative Policy and Procedure 7.43 Youth Sports, are designed to ensure equity in participation of organized sports at the elementary and middle school levels.

No fiscal impact  
Implementation and Assessment Plan:
Upon approval by the Board, the Office of Board Governance will make and publish revisions to the policy.  
Recommendation
Your Committee recommends that the Board approve the revisions to Administrative Policy 07.23: Youth Sports Programs.
