Background:
|
At its July 2020 meeting, the Board referred Resolution 2021R-010 to the Committee on Student Achievement and School Innovation. At its August 2020, meeting, the Board took action to adopt Resolution 2021R-010. Since the Board's action, the Administration implemented the resolution for the 2022-23 school year. This included assembling the 2022-23 Black Lives Matter (BLM) Week of Action and a Year of Purpose Advisory Committee and creating sub-groups. The Administration is continuing this important work for the 2022-23 school year, and planning is underway. For the 2022-23 school year, the committee and sub-groups were updated and the Administration will continue to provide quarterly reports to the Board on its planning for the current school year relative to three key areas: Curriculum & Professional Development Week of Action Monthly School Projects |
