Background:
|
The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI) recognizes the impact of delivering instruction during the COVID-19 pandemic for school districts during the 2020-21 school year. DPI has allowed for flexibility with respect to required hours of instruction. The COVID-19 District Flexibility Application provides districts the ability to apply for regulatory flexibility and waivers as a result of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic relative to K-12 education. |

Upon approval, the Administration will submit a request to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction for a waiver of the hours of instruction requirement for the 2020-2021 school year.
