Background:
|
Based on the Board’s action, the 2021-22 monthly Regional Showcase item will provide a thorough picture of each region, including goals and progress in attaining them. In addition, strategies that are being successfully implemented within the region and that may be replicated will be included.
This month, the East Region is featured. The East Region comprises 24 schools, and serves 9,594 students in diverse settings to meet the varied needs of our students. Schools in the East Region include the following: Bay View Montessori, Brown Street, Burdick, Carver Academy, Cass Street, Clement Avenue, Cooper, Elm, Fernwood Montessori, Fratney, Gaenslen, Garland, Hartford Avenue, Humboldt Park, IDEAL, Maryland Montessori, Milwaukee Academy of Chinese Language, O.W. Holmes, Parkside, Riverwest, Siefert, Trowbridge, Victory, and Whittier.
The East Region offers a variety of programs and services to support our students towards their academic goals. The East Region is successful due to the committed staff members and dedicated community partnerships, a vital component to the success of students. |
