Background:
|
At its meeting on January 27, 2022, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors referred Communication 2122C-004 from the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association (MTEA) regarding a proposed policy on time schedules and workload to the Administration for follow-up. On March 24, 2022, the Board directed the Administration to form a committee of various stakeholders to review the proposed policy changes and to develop a recommendation for the Board to consider. The Administration established a committee and conducted meetings over the last two and a half months, as directed by the Board. As a result of the committee’s meetings, the attached proposed Administrative Procedure 6.27 was developed and is now being recommended to the Board for approval. |
