Background:
|
M³ (pronounced "m-cubed") is a collaborative partnership among the three largest public education institutions in Milwaukee: Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS), Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee (UWM). M³ seeks to transform the future of Milwaukee through education. The M³ College Connections program is a dual enrollment program for MPS high school students. Students in this program attend classes at both the MATC and UWM campuses to earn high school and college credits. A team of administrators and instructors from MPS, MATC, and UWM meets every two weeks to review the progress of students, problem solve logistical issues, and adjust the programs or individual pathway designs. |
