On January 31, 2022, the Office of Board Governance received a communication from the Milwaukee Teachers' Education Association which reads:
"The attached policy proposal is being submitted on behalf of MTEA members and has been unanimously endorsed by the MTEA Executive Board. We ask that it be directed to the Board President and referred to the appropriate committee pursuant to Board Governance Policy 2.11. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact me if there are any questions."
