Background: Based on the Board’s action, the 2021-2022 monthly Regional Showcase item provides a thorough picture of each region, including goals and progress in attaining them. In addition, strategies that are being successfully implemented within the region and that may be replicated will be included.

This month, the High School Region is featured. The region comprises 26 schools, including Montessori, Immersion, International Baccalaureate, Bilingual, Career and Technical Education, Community Schools, Alternative and other specialty schools like the Milwaukee Virtual Program. The High School Region has served 22,910 students in diverse settings to meet the varied needs of our students. Schools in the High School Region include the following: Alliance, Audubon MS/HS, Bay View, Bradley Tech, Groppi, Hamilton, MacDowell, Madison, Marshall, Golda Meir, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Milwaukee County Youth Education Center, Milwaukee School of Languages, North Division, Obama School of Career and Technical Education, Project Stay, Pulaski, Ronald Reagan, Riverside, Rufus King, South Division, Transition, Vincent, Washington High School of Information Technology and Wisconsin Conservatory of Lifelong Learning.

The High School Region offers a variety of programs and services to support our students towards their graduation goals. The High School Region attributes our success to strong leadership, dedicated and talented staff and effective partnerships with families and the community.
