Background:
|
Governor Evers set aside additional Coronavirus Relief Funds to provide to school districts. The funding is part of the federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or, CARES Act. Milwaukee Public Schools received $9,619,944 of aid.

Approval of this item will allow the $9,619,944 in Coronavirus Relief Funds to be budgeted and expended as outlined in the attachment.

Implementation and Assessment Plan
:

Upon the Board's approval, the funding will be budgeted for expenditure in 2022-2023.
