Background:

The Administration will provide an update during the Board cycle of the progress to date, on Andrew S. Douglas, regarding Resolution 2021-021, by Director Woodward, on an African Immersion School. The presentation will highlight the clear distinction between the African American Immersion and the African Immersion School. More specific details will be provided regarding the audit that was conducted, and the timeframe and supports that were needed to complete this task, as well as the engagement this school community participated in to ensure all stakeholders are abreast of the programmatic changes.
