Background:
|
Based on the Board’s action, the 2021-2022 monthly Regional Showcase item provides a thorough picture of each region, including goals and progress in attaining them. In addition, strategies that are being successfully implemented within the region and that may be replicated will be included.
This month, the Citywide Region is featured. The Citywide Region comprises 13 schools, and serves 4,883 students in diverse settings to meet the varied needs of our students. Schools in the Citywide Region include the following: Alcott, Andrew Douglas, Gaenslen, Hi-Mount, Lincoln Center of the Arts, Martin Luther King Jr, Morse Middle, River Trail, Roosevelt, Rufus King Middle, Townsend, and Wedgewood.
The Citywide Region offers a variety of programs and services to support our students towards their academic goals. The Citywide Region is successful due to the committed staff members and dedicated community partnerships, a vital component to the success of students.
