Background:
|
With respect to Item 1, pursuant to Wis. Stat. 19.85(1)(g), the Board may retire to closed session to confer with legal counsel for the Board who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved.
In regard to Item 2, the Board may retire to executive session under the provisions of Wisconsin Statutes, Chapter 19.85(1)(c), which allows a governing body to go into closed session for the purpose of considering employment, promotion, compensation, or performance-evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility.
The Board may reconvene in open session to take action on matters considered in executive session and/or to continue with the remainder of its agenda. Otherwise, the Board will adjourn from the closed session.
