Background:
|
At the March 23, 2023, Board Meeting, Resolution 2223R-018 by Directors Peterson and Herndon on the creation of a D/HH Task Force for major review of MPS's D/HH program was referred to the Committee on Student Achievement and School Innovation. The resolution proposes that a task force be created in order to review MPS's current D/HH program and make subsequent recommendations based upon that review.

Fiscal Impact Statement:

The fiscal impact will be estimated in the full plan and reported back to the Board after completion of the review.

Implementation and Assessment Plan
:
|
Upon adoption of the resolution, the composition of the task force and the proposed timeline will be provided at the June 2023 Board meeting.
|
|
Recommendation:
|
The Administration recommends that the Board
1. Discharge the Committee on Student Achievement and School Innovation from further consideration of this item; and
2. Approve Resolution 2223R-018 by Directors Peterson and Herndon on Creation of a D/HH Task Force, as amended, with an update to be brought to the Board in June 2023.
