Background:
|
Revisions to Administrative Policy 8.23, Weapons in the Schools, reflect changes in the Student Code of Conduct's definitions. The proposed revisions to Administrative Policy 8.28, Student Discipline, codify prior board action as part of Resolution 2021R-007, adopted in September 2020, regarding suspensions of students below sixth grade. Revisions to Administrative Policy 8.31, Student Suspension, clearly articulate due-process requirements for suspensions.
