Background: Recommended for the Board's approval at this meeting are the following exception-to-bid contracts:

Arts at Large, Inc for music teacher services, MUS-H-I-AMP-IT-ECTS =$63,275.76;

College Entrance Examination Board dba College Board, to provide advanced placement assessments, SYS-0-0-AMT-RH-ECTS =$250,000.00;

Smart Interpreting Services, Inc dba Professional Interpreting Enterprise for interpretation services for hard of hearing students and staff, HI2-0-I-EEN-DW-ECTS =$500,000.00;

Savvas Learning Company LLC for professional development services, SDV-0-S-9C4-CI-ECTS =$76,800.00;
Fiscal Impact Statement: This item authorizes expenditures as indicated in the attachments.
Implementation and Assessment Plan Upon approval by the Board, the contracts will begin as indicated in the attachments.
Recommendation: The Administration recommends that the Board authorize the exception-to-bid contracts as set forth in the attachments to this item.
