Background: The Administration recommends revisions to Administrative Policy 5.04: Use of Drones on School Property to allow for students and staff to use drones for educational and extra-curricular activities in and on district property with prior authorization and proper safety precautions.
Fiscal Impact Statement: No fiscal impact.
Implementation and Assessment Plan Upon approval by the Board, the Office of Board Governance will make and publish revisions to the policy.
Recommendation: Your Committee recommends that the Board approve the revisions to Administrative Policy 5.04: Use of Drones on School Property.
