Background:
Recommended for the Board's approval at this meeting are the following: 1) Various Bus Contracts to reflect fuel surcharges, changes to services, and additional school-based purchases of Milwaukee County Transit System bus passes as outlined in the attachment; (2) Gabriel Roeder Smith & Company for Pension Actuarial Services.  
Fiscal Impact Statement:
This item authorizes expenditures:
1. Various Bus Contracts, $56,995, RTS-0-0-TRS-DW-EPPT0000 (Regular Transportation)and $500,000, various school budgets.
2. Gabriel Roeder Smith & Company, $370,772, DWC-0-0-EMB-DW-EERA/MTEA and Teacher Pension Supplemental DWC-0-0-EMB-DW-EERT
 
Implementation and Assessment Plan:
Upon approval by the Board, the contract changes will begin as indicated in the attachment.  
Recommendation
Your Committee recommends that the Board authorize the following contract changes:

1. The contract changes outlined in the chart entitled Bus Contract Amendments and $500,000 in additional expenditures to the MCTS, to be charged to various school budgets.
2. Gabriel Roeder Smith & Company, $370,772, DWC-0-0-EMB-DW-EERA/MTEA and Teacher Pension Supplemental DWC-0-0-EMB-DW-EERT.
