Background: (1) At its meeting on September 30, 2010, the Board referred Resolution 1011R-018 by Director Falk to the Committee on Legislation, Rules and Policies (see Attachment #1).
(2) At its meeting on October 13, 2011, the Committee on Legislation, Rules and Policies voted to recommend that the Board adopt the resolution. (A copy of the Committee's report is attached.) The Board, however, at its regular monthly meeting on October 27, 2011, in accordance with Board Rule 1.11, Amendments to the Rules, held the item over for one month.
(3) A review of the Board's Proceedings having revealed that this item was not brought forward for the Board's consideration at the November 2011 regular Board meeting; therefore, this item is being brought forward at this time for the Board's consideration and determination.
Fiscal Impact Statement: This item does not authorize expenditures. There is no cost associated with revising this rule.
Implementation and Assessment Plan Should the Board adopt the Resolution, the proposed revisions to Board Rule 1.02, Regular Board Meetings, and Board Rule 1.01, Organizational Meeting, will be made and published.
Recommendation: You Committee recommends that the Board adopt Resolution 1011R-018.
