Background: Ambitious Instruction: Accelerating Learning is the instructional framework for the 22-23 school year. It embodies the district’s Five Priorities for Success, focusing on increasing academic achievement and accountability, developing our staff, and strengthening communication and collaboration.

The Ambitious Instruction Plan aligns with the Academic Standards presented on September 29, 2022, and it serves as the foundation for instruction in the classroom and professional development for school staff, school leaders, and families.

The Ambitious Instruction Plan and Professional Development Roadmap help schools identify how to provide impactful leaning experiences for all students in the various content areas.

Ambitious Instruction: Accelerating Learning includes all content areas in ensuring that all students are provided with equitable access to high-quality, grade-appropriate instruction covered in the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), Common Core Essential Elements (CCEE), Next Generation Science Standards, English Development Standards (ELD), Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards (WMELS) or Wisconsin Academic Standards.

This presentation highlights the work that has been done this year with the Ambitious Instruction Plan.
