Background:

At the July 29, 2021, meeting, the Milwaukee Board of School Directors took action to immediately begin the development process of a district strategic plan by adopting Resolution 2122R-008 by Director Gokalgandhi.
This work session will begin with a review of the organizational profile that was developed by the strategic planning team following the Baldrige Excellence Framework. The board will provide insights and suggestions to the profile. We will continue our review of results data that has being collected as part of the strategic planning process. Within the Baldrige Excellence Framework, data regarding students and other stakeholders' satisfaction and engagement has been collected. We will engage in discussion about the data and how this information should inform strategic planning and surveys that are being developed. Board members will also review draft surveys of our students, families, staff and community and provide final suggestions for questions or possible answer choices. The communications plan will be shared.
